I got to the airport--LaGuardia--at twelve-thirty, since my flight left at one-thirty. That should've been perfect, right? Nope! Not when you're flying Spirit, an airline that thrives on incompetence. Their checkers were slow as molasses, and the check-in line was huge. I got in it and waited.

I missed my fucking flight, despite getting to the airport with an hour to spare, because the stupid fucking airport people were ridiculously unhelpful and unclear. (This post brought to you by me losing my wallet in an NYC taxi thanks to my own dumbassery and me missing my flight thanks to unclear and unhelpful airport people.)

So Abigail and I went to TCR today. Unfortunately, we only had one ticket, and since I'm visiting Abigail let me be the one to have it, and she decided to do standby.

All right, so, because Abigail and I apparently have cowed the universe into being our personal bitch, we managed to get tickets to TDS at the last minute. The day before we also got tickets to see John Oliver (and others) do stand up, so today was quite action-packed and fun-filled.
